By using any automated documentation, consultation request, or service request features available on the Platform, You affirm that: You are above 18 years of age; You are legally competent to enter into binding agreements under applicable Indian laws; and You understand the nature and implications of the information submitted by You.

If You do not agree with these Terms, You must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

LegalKonnect is a technology-enabled platform that facilitates communication and interaction between Users and Professionals. The Platform acts merely as an intermediary and facilitation platform for connecting Users with Professionals for legal and allied professional services.

LegalKonnect does not guarantee that Users will successfully find a suitable Professional, any specific legal outcome or result, any judicial, regulatory, or governmental approval, or the quality, competence, or success of services provided by any Professional.

LegalKonnect does not ordinarily interfere in agreements, communications, or engagements between Users and Professionals unless operationally necessary. Users are solely responsible for independently assessing the integrity, honesty, credentials, qualifications, competence, and suitability of Professionals before engagement.

LegalKonnect and LEGIFOLIO LLP are not law firms and do not themselves provide legal representation unless expressly stated.

Use of the Platform alone does not create any advocate-client, advisor-client, fiduciary, partnership, agency, employment, or professional relationship between the User and LEGIFOLIO LLP. Any advocate-client or professional relationship shall arise exclusively between the User and the concerned Professional engaged through the Platform.

Any electronic communication sent to the Platform shall not by itself create any professional relationship.

Content available on the Platform including blogs, FAQs, guides, templates, informational material, automated workflows, AI-generated responses, and general awareness material are provided solely for informational and educational purposes.

Such content shall not be construed as legal advice, financial advice, tax advice, compliance advice, or professional opinion. Users are advised to consult qualified Professionals before acting upon any information obtained through the Platform.

Any AI-assisted, automated, or technology-generated response shall not be treated as final professional advice unless specifically reviewed and confirmed by a qualified Professional.

The Platform is intended only for individuals competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Users may be required to register or provide personal information in order to access certain services.

Users agree to provide accurate, complete, and updated information at all times. The Company reserves the right to suspend, terminate, or restrict access if any information submitted by the User is found false, misleading, fraudulent, or incomplete.

Users are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of passwords, OTPs, account credentials, and account access.

The Platform may automatically generate temporary or preliminary accounts based on information voluntarily submitted by Users including mobile number, email address, consultation requests, booking requests, uploaded documents, or enquiry forms. Such automatically generated accounts shall remain subject to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and other applicable Platform policies.

Users shall not:

• Use abusive, defamatory, hateful, vulgar, obscene, threatening, or unlawful language
• Upload false, misleading, illegal, harmful, or fraudulent content
• Violate intellectual property rights of any person or entity
• Upload malware, viruses, harmful code, or malicious software
• Attempt unauthorised access to the Platform or associated systems
• Engage in spam, phishing, scraping, unsolicited marketing, or deceptive activities
• Disrupt the operation, functionality, or security of the Platform
• Use the Platform for illegal or prohibited activities
• Impersonate another individual or entity

The Company reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate access to Users violating these Terms.

Users may upload documents, notices, case details, comments, reviews, ratings, testimonials, communications, or other materials through the Platform. Users grant LEGIFOLIO LLP a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, transmit, reproduce, and use such content strictly for operational, security, service-related, legal compliance, analytics, and customer support purposes.

The Company reserves the right to remove or restrict any content that violates applicable laws, public policy, Platform rules, or these Terms. The Company may display reviews, testimonials, ratings, initials, or limited identifiers for transparency and awareness purposes.

The Company shall make reasonable efforts to maintain confidentiality of information submitted by Users. Users acknowledge that internet-based communications and electronic transmissions inherently involve risks and may not always remain secure.

Users are advised not to disclose highly sensitive, privileged, confidential, or incriminating information unless necessary. The Company shall not be responsible for unauthorised disclosure caused by cyber-attacks, technical failures, user negligence, third-party misconduct, or external system vulnerabilities.

Certain services offered on the Platform may require payment of consultation charges, professional fees, convenience fees, drafting charges, government fees, filing fees, or other applicable charges. Payments shall be processed through authorised third-party payment gateways.

Unless otherwise specifically stated, fees paid are generally non-refundable. Refund requests may be considered in cases involving duplicate payments, failure to provide services due solely to Company-related reasons, excess payments, or exceptional circumstances approved by management.

Refund requests must be submitted through the official communication channel at teamlegalkonnect@gmail.com. The Company reserves sole discretion to approve or reject refund requests. Refund processing timelines may vary depending on banking systems, payment gateways, and operational procedures.

The Company shall not be liable for delays caused by governmental authorities, regulatory bodies, technical disruptions, internet failures, force majeure events, natural disasters, cyber incidents, or third-party service interruptions.

All rights, title, and interest relating to the Platform including domain names, brand names, logos, trademarks, technology architecture, databases, source code, designs, software, documents, features, content, workflows, graphics, text, and visual elements shall remain the sole and exclusive property of LEGIFOLIO LLP unless otherwise expressly stated.

Users shall not copy, reproduce, modify, republish, distribute, reverse engineer, exploit, or commercially use any portion of the Platform without prior written consent. Any unauthorised use of intellectual property shall constitute violation of applicable laws and may result in legal action.

The Platform may integrate with or provide access to third-party services, payment gateways, APIs, communication providers, analytics tools, cloud storage providers, or external websites. The Company shall not be responsible for the content, security, privacy practices, performance, legality, or operations of such third-party services. Accessing third-party platforms shall remain entirely at the User’s own risk.

The Platform and services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. LEGIFOLIO LLP expressly disclaims all warranties whether express or implied including warranties relating to accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, security, and error-free operation.

The Company does not warrant that: the Platform shall remain uninterrupted; errors or defects shall always be corrected; the Platform shall remain free from viruses or harmful components; or services shall always meet User expectations.

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, LEGIFOLIO LLP, its partners, affiliates, employees, consultants, representatives, technology providers, and service providers shall not be liable for indirect losses, consequential damages, business interruption, loss of profits, loss of data, reputational harm, technical failures, delays, unauthorised access, and third-party misconduct.

Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LEGIFOLIO LLP, its partners, affiliates, employees, consultants, service providers, and representatives from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, penalties, costs, legal proceedings, or expenses arising from violation of these Terms, user misconduct, violation of applicable laws, infringement of third-party rights, misuse of the Platform, or false information submitted by the User.

The Company shall not be responsible for loss of data resulting from technical failures, system outages, network interruptions, backup failures, cyber incidents, file corruption, unauthorised access, or user negligence.

The Company reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate User access without prior notice in cases involving violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, abuse of services, security threats, or legal or regulatory obligations.

Upon termination, the Company may delete account information, documents, and stored data subject to applicable legal obligations.

LEGIFOLIO LLP shall not be liable for delays, interruption, failure, or inability to provide services arising due to events beyond reasonable control including natural disasters, pandemics, internet failures, cyber-attacks, government restrictions, labour disputes, power failures, technical disruptions, acts of war, and regulatory actions.

The Company reserves the right to modify, amend, suspend, discontinue, or update the Platform, services, policies, or these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Platform after such modifications shall constitute acceptance of revised Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to remain valid and enforceable.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Platform, or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts situated at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the services provided through the Platform shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Proceedings shall be conducted in English.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, Refund Policy, and other policies published on the Platform, constitute the entire agreement between the User and LEGIFOLIO LLP regarding use of the Platform. These Terms supersede all prior communications, understandings, representations, or agreements whether oral or written relating to the subject matter herein.
